Light Amplification - details and controls

The Light Amplification control is on the right side of the Secondary Screen, third button from the top.

Some 'Mechs have a system called "Light Amplification". This is a system that is similar to what you would see using night vision goggles. It makes the Main Viewscreen lighten for enhanced vision at night.

Downsides to using Light Amplification:

• It can only be used in Mid or Advanced Pilot Modes.
• Hits from an opponent's PPC can knock out Light Amplification.
• You cannot use Zoom and Light Amplification at the same time.
• Firing your own missiles or close-proximity explosions can temporarily blind the Main Viewscreen.
