MechCorps gears up for Nerdy Gras at Wizard World New Orleans, Feb. 7-9, 2014!

Mardi Gras is in full swing for the City of New Orleans, but that won’t be the only party in town because Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con will be returning to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for another weekend of fan convention fun! Wizard World has been a favorite event in the New Orleans area for many years and this year is looking to be bigger and better than ever based on the guest list! Fresh off his most recent regeneration, the 11th incarnation of Doctor Who, Matt Smith, will be appearing alongside the likes of comic book legend Stan Lee, plus enough stars and celebrities to fill their own parade down Bourbon Street! Speaking of celebrations, MechCorps Entertainment will be on site to fill the virtual skies with plenty of fireworks via six Virtual World Tesla II Battletech Simulator Pods! Battletech is a fast and furious game of giant robot combat and is a favorite among convention attendees all across the South. This will be MechCorps first trip to Wizard World New Orleans and they aim to make this the best convention ever! 3-story tall, 75-ton BattleMechs will be at the command of Wizard World attendees for a multitude of game types. The crack team of MechCorps veteran pilots will be on hand to train new pilots in the finer skills of futuristic combat so that they can drive their giant robot to victory!
