ATLANTA, GA - Labor Day in Atlanta is hot but Dragon*Con aims to heat things up even further. That's right, the biggest fan convention in the south will be returning to downtown Atlanta for its 26th year. With five hotels and an amazing list of guests, Dragon*Con is one of the largest fan conventions for a good reason. Returning to the Gaming Room in Hilton Atlanta's Galleria Level will be MechCorps Entertainment with as much giant robot fighting than attendees can handle!
Ever wanted the thrill of piloting a 75-ton, robotic war machine into combat? MechCorps Entertainment has the answer with the Virtual World Tesla II Battletech Cockpit Simulator Pods. Operating these titans of the battlefield couldn't be simpler; all it takes is a short training video before pilots are able to dominate the fight! After the match, pilots are treated to an instant replay of their battle as well as a score sheet that will guarantee bragging rights between pilots, at least until the next round. Mechcorps will be bringing twelve pods to Dragon*Con, that means that twelve human combatants will be able to test their mettle per mission in multiple game types, featuring many different Battlemechs and weapon load outs. Piloting a Battlemech is an experience that must be seen to believed, and MechCorps will be on hand to deliver this one of a kind experience!
